In recent days, area bass player, Michael Olivier, has reportedly been feeling despondent, in part, no doubt, to the lack of camaraderie and sense of purpose that being the bass player for Pierce Edens and the Dirty Work normally adds to his life. Seen mulling about in his wood shop/basement/recording studio/cave, Michael has not picked up a bass since driving the front man and his wife to the airport.
“It’s bad enough that he had to take a ‘vacation’ to the Southwest for 10 days, but did he really have to take my wife with him. I mean, she shouldn’t even be traveling being 6 1/2 months pregnant”, said Michael. He then returned to his wood shop/basement/recording studio/cave and began building something resembling a large coffin inlaid with mother of pearl figurines.
