We are finally back in the studio for our second full-length album. We have the tracks but no name. We have all of the gear, but no sound as of yet. We have the boys and we have Adam Johnson and friends. We will have something by the end of the week. Well, something might not be accurate.
We will be recording all week at Landslide Studio (not an open invitation). We have a slew of songs to get down and plenty of coffee to do so. Although we won’t be following Matt Smith and the Matt Smiths down that road of free jazz nor our bass players side project of sub-urban house music, we are taking things a lot further than the last album and think we will all be pleasantly surprised.
In bigger news, we have a show at the Westville Pub on Saturday, March 29, 2008. Since this is going to be at the end of our week of recording the rough tracks for the new album, we thought it appropriate to continue the recording. Here is your chance to be recorded live and be on the next album! We are going to be getting some help from all of you on Saturday with some back up singing for one of the new albums tracks. We won’t say which one, but it will be later on in the evening most likely, so come out and stay out.
